Happy Mother’s Day
I know yesterday was Mother’s Day, but I didn’t get a chance to get on with everything that was happening, so I wanted to wish all you 
amazing mommies out there a Happy Mother’s Day. I hope your day was very special, and well deserved. I know my day was very interesting, but in the end, my day was awesome. I got to spend it with the people who I love and adore the most, and was able to celebrate my first year as a mommy. My son who is 8months old drew me a beautiful card, and he has the markered fingers to prove it. Then he got me an incredibly sweet poem about mothers and sons. He did an excellent job picking it out for me (with his daddy’s help of course).
In the afternoon, the three of us met the rest of my family for a lunch buffet. It was really nice to be able to celebrate mother’s day with my mom, my grandmother, and just my amazing family. They are truly the reason I am such a unique individual and an amazing person today. My uncle included me in his little tradition of giving all the mothers at the table a single rose, and I felt so special about receiving one this year. After dinner, our little family headed back home where we just relaxed and watched Little Fockers, which was a really good movie.
